Permits for the RR lot (Student residents only) and Park & Ride lots are available now for purchase. You may purchase one of these permits and remain on the student waitlist for a preferred permit

The next Student waitlist notification will be Friday August 7, 2026 after 5pm

We will randomly select students from the applicable waitlists. Because selections are made at random, students do not have a numbered waitlist position.

If you experience any issues joining a waitlist, please contact parking@move.unc.edu , and include your student PID in your email so we can assist you.

Please note that only students who are awarded a permit will receive a notification. Students who are not selected will not receive an email.
